Learning the fundamentals is important, which is why I want to dedicate a bit of my time to learn them properly. To spice it up I decided to couple it with misleading patterns in datavis. Maybe just to know I’m not accidentally do bad charting. Regarding manipulative/misleading charts I reference a lot of Alberto Cairo - How charts lie and try to adapt his taught principles when I can. But it’s not only about the bad actors, this is also a place to simply try things and have fun.
